Cass is Co-Founder and Executive Director of RCM Cooperative. She has a PhD in Neuroscience (2014) and 6 years experience building data science communities at the Alan Turing Institute, University of Oxford, and now as a freelance contractor, with a particular focus on embedding open research practices. She is a Fellow of the Software Sustainability Institute, contributor to The Turing Way handbook on reproducible, ethical and collaborative data science, Co-Founder of Open Research Calendar and Co-Chair of the OHBM Open Science Room 2020.
