Claude Bajada (he/him)

Claude J. Bajada is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta, where he serves as Chair of the University of Malta MRI Research Platform (UMRI) and heads the Boundaries of the Brain (BOB) Lab. His research focuses on open-source neuroimaging tool development and on the challenges of balancing GDPR compliance with open neuroimaging, including data sharing. Having helped build the University of Malta’s neuroimaging research infrastructure from the ground up, he brings first-hand experience of navigating European data protection legislation within a smaller EU institution.
